St. Thomas More Academy (STMA) is a K-12 independent Catholic classical school based in South Bend, Indiana, serving 260 students from 100 highly engaged families. Its mission centers on cultivating intellectual, moral, and theological virtues through a rigorous liberal arts curriculum, with daily Mass as the source and summit of each school day. This apostolic community fosters wisdom enlivened by charity, friendship in Christ, and a culture of service where families live within 10-15 minutes of campus and prioritize off-hours connections like park playdates and uniform exchanges.
Yet unofficial mom email lists have long handled these interactions, leading to unmoderated grievances, reply-all overload, and no dedicated space for new families. Administrator Kevin Powers sees Networked as the pivot. A secure, school-led platform to centralize parent engagement while channeling sensitive queries through proper channels and onboarding newcomers swiftly into the STMA private school community.

How Networked Is Supporting Their Vision
St. Thomas More Academy is partnering with Networked to consolidate family engagement and school operations into a branded, mobile-first hub that elevates Catholic education beyond fragmented tools. Private Spaces create tailored environments for moms groups, dads networks, and grade-level cohorts with admin moderation, post approvals, and custom roles ensuring relevance and security for this private school community.
High school students can access calendars, events, and resource libraries, while built-in video for PTA meetings recordings can go directly to a Media Center alongside forms and slide decks. Volunteer boards will match parents to classroom needs, and interactive newsletters will repurpose feeds to drive engagement without external noise.ย
