Not every community is built to solve real-world problems, but this one is.

Meet The Supply Chain Project.

In this Behind the Community conversation, we sat down with Steve Robinson, Founder and Chairman of The Supply Chain Project, to explore how a global network of supply chain professionals is being mobilized to support humanitarian efforts around the world.

Steveโ€™s perspective is simple, but powerful. Supply chains arenโ€™t just about moving goods, theyโ€™re about helping people. And when pointed in the right direction, they can solve some of the worldโ€™s most urgent challenges.

One story that stayed with us came from the early days of building the community. A nonprofit in Rwanda reached out for help in the middle of a malaria crisis. They needed to secure millions of malaria kits from overseas but had no funding, no logistics support, and no clear path forward. Through The Supply Chain Projectโ€™s network, experts stepped in, coordinating procurement, unlocking funding, and managing distribution. Within a year, malaria cases dropped by 33%.

Itโ€™s a powerful reminder of what happens when the right people come together with a shared purpose.

At its core, The Supply Chain Project is about connection. Bringing together professionals from corporate, nonprofit, and humanitarian sectors, the community creates a space where expertise is shared, collaboration happens naturally, and impact scales far beyond what any one organization could do alone.

Because in this kind of work, itโ€™s not just about efficiency or systemsโ€ฆitโ€™s about people showing up for each other.
