Networked is built on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption everywhere, automated backups and Stripe-handled payments. Our security program is maturing in stages as our Enterprise customers grow.
How we protect your data
Hosted on AWS
Networked runs on Amazon Web Services as containerized services on managed Kubernetes. Production is kept separate from QA and development, with its own clusters and databases.
Encrypted at rest and in transit
Traffic to Networked uses TLS, and all traffic is redirected to HTTPS. Production databases, caches and file storage are encrypted at rest.
Built to stay up
The production database runs across multiple availability zones, with automated backups and deletion protection.
Payments handled by Stripe
Card payments for Networked plans and for your community’s memberships, tickets, courses and Offers run through Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 provider. Networked never stores card numbers.
Secrets kept out of the code
Application secrets are encrypted with AWS Key Management Service, and third-party keys are held in AWS Secrets Manager.
Access you control
Inside your community, roles, permissions and moderation decide who can see, post and manage, space by space.
Your data stays yours
- Your member list, profiles and history belong to your organization.
- Branded apps run under your own name, icon and domain.
- Connect your own tools with Salesforce, HubSpot and Calendly integrations, a public API and webhooks.
