For too long, people facing endometrial cancer have had to navigate it without a dedicated space built specifically for them.

In this Behind the Community conversation, we sat down with Lindsay Timm, Executive Director of the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network, to explore how End Endo is changing that by building a community rooted in trust, lived experience, and real support.

What stood out immediately is just how needed this space is.

In the endometrial cancer space, there has never been a consistent, dedicated community to support patients, caregivers, and advocates in one place. Too often, people are grouped into broader categories, left navigating their diagnosis without the specificity, clarity, or connection they deserve.

End Endo is changing that.

Built as a welcoming and evidence-based community, the goal is simple but powerful, to create a space where people can ask questions, share experiences, and feel supported at every stage of their journey, from diagnosis to treatment to survivorship.

But what makes this community different is how intentionally itโ€™s being shaped.

From the very beginning, the focus is on trust. On listening. On building something alongside the people itโ€™s meant to serve, not for them.

As Lindsay shared:

โ€œWe want to lift the voices of those affected by endometrial cancer and their loved ones who support them. This is your space to make it benefit you. No more getting grouped in with all gynecological cancers. This belongs to you.โ€

That sense of ownership is everything.

Because community, especially in moments like these, isnโ€™t just about connection. Itโ€™s about being seen, understood, and supported in a way that feels real.

As End Endo grows, the vision goes even further. The lived experiences shared within the community have the potential to shape policy, inform research, and influence how care is delivered, ensuring that patient voices donโ€™t just exist, but lead.

At its core, End Endo is about creating a space that didnโ€™t exist before and making sure no one has to navigate this journey alone.
